1. What we store
There are no user accounts. When a brand claims a country we store the brand’s public identity (domain or X handle, name, logo, pitch, color), the bid history, and — only if you choose to add it — an email address, used exclusively to notify you when someone takes your country. That’s the only personal data we hold.
2. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us; we receive only confirmation of payment and the amount. See Stripe’s privacy policy for how they process payment data.
3. Cookies and analytics
We set no tracking cookies. We use cookieless, aggregate analytics (page views, referrers, country-level location) that identify nobody. Your browser’s localStorage is used only for interface state (e.g. whether you dismissed the intro).
4. Service providers
Hosting and database run on cloud providers (Vercel and a managed Postgres provider); takeover emails are delivered by Resend. Each processes data only to provide the service.
5. Your rights
Email us to access or delete your data — including removing your email address or your brand’s presence entirely. We answer within 30 days: bidearthlol@gmail.com.
